Job summary

Elior Independent School Dining in Hamburg, PA, is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the Blue Mountain Academy dining team. You will oversee all functions of the food service department, develop and mentor staff, and ensure meals are prepared and served to students, faculty, and guests with the highest standards.

This onsite role requires experience in school dining, strong communication, and a proactive approach to compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our Independent School Dining team in Hamburg. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that students, faculty and guests never miss a meal.

Up to $70,000 depending on experience
