Job summary

Maschio's Food Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Cafe Manager in the Hampton, NJ area. The role is four hours per day, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays and summers off.

You will manage daily operations, prepare and cook foods per recipes and NSLP guidelines, place orders, assist with inventory and promotions, supervise staff, and handle POS activities. Qualifications include the ability to obtain proper school work documentation, food service experience, and ideally

• Cooking – food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production according to the NSLP guidelines.
• Ordering – placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.
• POS/Register – assist workers with cash collection, follow record keeping procedures.
• Staffing – secure food service workers and substitutes.
