Job summary

Hours vary and are set by the manager; the position offers an hourly wage between $15 and $16.32 and requires basic reading/writing, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and a commitment to high-quality customer service on a busy campus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds)
• Good physical health.
• Some knowledge of basic food preparation, service, and sanitation methods and a desire to provide high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to instructions and follow proper food handling techniques.
• Assist inServing Line Worksheets and maintain clean, sanitary work areas.
• Set up service/preparation areas and dishwashing/pot-and-pan stations.
• Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation, service, and dishwashing.
