Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn-Orlando/ International Drive North is seeking an experienced Food Server to join our team. The role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, and processing payments at the front of house, with opportunities to prepare beverages and food to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests, taking orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order.
• Preparing food, coffee and other beverages to meet brand standards, including alcohol.
• Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders, follow state laws for serving alcohol, close duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar/cooler areas.
• Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils, resetting tables, delivering food to guests, and general cleaning of prep areas.

We are currently looking for experienced Food Server to join our Team! Our Hilton Garden Inn is located just off I-4, two miles from Universal Orlando Resort. We provide scheduled free shuttle to Universal Parks. Orange County Convention Center and various corporate offices are within four miles. With 158 guest rooms, our hotel has a full service restaurant, The Garden Grille & Bar that serves breakfast, dinner, and drinks. We are home to the well-known Tiki Bar where guests enjoy Florida weather outdoors by our Fire Pit. The Hilton Garden Inn is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award‑winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests, taking their orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order.
• Preparing food, coffee and other beverages to meet company and brand standards, including alcohol. Have a full knowledge of entire menu.
• Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders for guests, follow state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, complete closing duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar and cooler areas.
• Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils. resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within lobby area.

This position is for the Breakfast Shift. Must be available to work weekends - as part of the schedule.

Requirements

• Previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
