Job summary

Saint Therese in Avon, OH is seeking a Part-Time Food Server to support dining operations for residents in a senior living community. The role includes preparing and plating meals, assisting with tray service, and maintaining clean dining areas while upholding safety and dietary standards.

Typical shifts are 4:00pm–7:00pm with schedules ranging from 3 to 5 days per week. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour based on experience, with same-day pay options available.

• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient meal service.
• Support a welcoming dining environment for residents, families, and guests.

Part-Time | Food Server

Shift: 4:00pm - 7:00pm

Schedule: We have schedules ranging from 3 days a week to 5 days a week

Pay Range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

• Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines
• Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state, local, and facility regulations
• Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed
• Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service
• Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests

Qualifications

• Ability to interact respectfully and positively with residents, families, and team members
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented dining environment
• Reliable attendance and strong professional work habits
• Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Experience Preferred

• One year of food service experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining
• Experience following diet orders, portion control standards, and food safety procedures
