Job summary

Saint Therese seeks part-time Food Servers at Saint Mary of the Woods in Avon, OH. Openings on multiple shifts: 7:00am-2:00pm (three/four days) and 11:00am-7:00pm (two/five days). Pay range $15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on experience, with same-day pay option.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service per resident dietary orders.

• Collaborate with dining team to ensure smooth meal service and resident satisfaction.

Part-Time | Food Server

At Saint Mary of the Woods, we are seeking to add multiple Servers to our team! We openings on the following shifts:

• -1 opening for: 7:00am-2:00pm (three days a week)
• -1 opening for: 7:00am-2:00pm (four days a week)
• -2 openings for: 11:00am-7:00pm (two days a week)
• -1 opening for: 11:00am-7:00pm (five days a week)

Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

• -Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines
• -Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state, local, and facility regulations
• -Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed
• -Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences
• -Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment
• -Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service
• -Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests

Qualifications

• -Ability to interact respectfully and positively with residents, families, and team members
• -Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented dining environment
• -Reliable attendance and strong professional work habits
• -Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions
• -Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings
• -Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Experience Preferred

• -One year of food service experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining
• -Experience following diet orders, portion control standards, and food safety procedures
