SGS North America Inc. is seeking a full-time client liaison for our laboratory services in the United States.

The role involves interfacing with clients, laboratory management and staff to resolve inquiries and ensure timely, accurate service delivery. The position requires a 4-year degree in Food Science or Microbiology (or related field), proficiency with LIMS and client portals, and 1+ years of laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology or closely related field.
• High school Diploma or GED Required
• Effective problem solving and problem-solving skills Required
• Written and verbal communication skills necessary to cross multiple disciplines Required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Required
• Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems Required
• Ability to interact with clients, affiliates, and employees effectively while maintaining a professional and pleasant work approach Required
• 1+ years of laboratory experience Required

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and timely response to internal and external client inquiries and requests
• Communicate results problems and discrepancies to clients and follow issue through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Track and trend client data as required
• Identify client concerns, complaints, and trends and recommend changes to accommodate client needs
• Set up new client accounts in LIMS and create required documents for sample submission for new clients
• Maintain records of all client communications and requirements
• Notify laboratory of special client requirements and monitor for compliance
• Ensure compliance to ISO 17025 standards are maintained
