Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. seeks a Food Program Manager to consult on sanitation programs across the food industry.

The role travels overnight across the region to service accounts, coordinate with Regional Managers, and design service plans to deliver value and continuous profit improvement for customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food/dairy sanitation, at least 5 years in related fields, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required; technical or marketing degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of food and/or dairy sanitation and its impact on quality and profitability.
• Mechanical aptitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Service sanitation customers to optimize their programs to PAMP goals.
• Identify and facilitate corrective actions on-site as needed.
• Manage steps to meet PAMP goals and report progress.
• Prepare written service/usage reports for customers and management.
• Understand and articulate process flow at each account.
• Identify latent customer problems and provide solutions.
• Communicate deviations from survey to Regional Manager promptly.
• Assist in plant surveys, presentations, and service plan design to deliver value.
• Adjust to the customer’s cost plan when applicable.
• Meet annual goals with Regional Manager and execute sales/service tasks.
• Train sanitation employees in group settings.
• Maintain Hydrite's standards of excellence in quality facilities and services.
• Participate in regulatory, health & safety, and process training; be RCRA compliant.
