Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure sanitary conditions at our plants and warehouses, especially in baking and packaging functions. You will follow a Master Cleaning Schedule, inspect equipment, and report issues to supervisors.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of food manufacturing experience, and English literacy for safety rules and procedures. CPR/AED certification may be provided through the company.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-minded and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals in English.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately cleans equipment area and works in periodic cleaning tasks.
• Sweeps, mops, and maintains offices, restrooms, lunchrooms and surrounding areas.
• Performs work safely using the correct methods as directed.
• Follows the warehouse sanitation program and Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Ensures sanitation standards during dough mixing and ingredient handling.
