Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a sanitation-focused team member to ensure sanitary conditions in our plants and warehouses. The role involves cleaning equipment areas, sweeping and maintaining offices and restrooms, and adhering to Master Cleaning Schedule and safety programs.

You will work with the Food Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with food laws and labeling requirements, and assist in training new staff. A safety-conscience mindset and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be safety conscious and able to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
• CPR and AED certification will be provided for recertification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately cleans equipment area or periodic work.
• Sweeps, mops and maintains offices, restrooms and lunchrooms and outdoor areas.
• Follows safe methods and maintains sanitation program in warehouses.
• Ensures sanitation standards during dough mixing and ingredient interactions.
• Reports equipment problems promptly to foreman or supervisor.
• Supports training of new employees and communicates safety requirements.
• Promotes safety by following procedures and reporting incidents.
