King’s Hawaiian is seeking a Food Safety Technician 2 to support sanitation and GMP compliance in a high-volume bakery facility in Torrance, CA. You will perform routine and deep sanitation of equipment, maintain SSOPs, and contribute to SQF programs to ensure a safe, hygienic production environment.

Under general supervision, you will inspect sanitation work, report issues promptly, and adhere to PPE and chemical handling procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; food safety training preferred.
• At least 1 year of sanitation or food production experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and deep sanitation of equipment and production areas.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble bakery equipment.
• Clean and maintain facility areas including floors, offices, labs, restrooms.
• Maintain employee hygiene stations and stocked supplies.
• Inspect sanitation work for completeness and report issues.
• Follow PPE, chemical handling, and hazard reporting policies.
• Support SQF and sanitation programs through training and awareness.
• Assist with waste disposal and chemical management.
• Perform other duties within scope as required.
