Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in sales: 1–3 years required
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent writing skills for emailing customers
• Comfort with cold-calling and strong phone skills
• Must live within a reasonable commute to Middletown/Harrisburg; on-site only

Responsibilities

• Lead generation by cold contact (email and calls) to identify the person in charge of food safety within target customers
• Introduce equipment and unique value proposition to target accounts
• Set appointments for online meetings and support distributors in territory
• Conduct online research about target customers and assist outside salesperson in the territory
• Travel to trade shows and factory visits as offered; primary goal is appointments and lead generation
