Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking an FSQS Manager to lead a quality and sanitation team at our Lithonia, GA facility. You will implement robust food safety systems, drive continuous improvement, and report to Plant Management.

The role requires overseeing 9 quality and 15 sanitation staff and maintaining HACCP/Food Safety compliance on site. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and 5+ years in plant food safety with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in a related field.
• At least 5+ years of plant food safety and quality experience.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Willingness to be onsite 5 days a week in Lithonia, GA.
• Willingness to travel within the US up to 10% as needed for business purposes.
• US work authorization (no visa sponsorship).
• HACCP and PCQI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of 9 quality and 15 sanitation personnel.
• Plan and oversee analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration to assure safety and quality.
• Develop plant and departmental FSQS goals aligned with US objectives.
• Review data from QC/QA activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Keep management informed of issues and improvements.
• Prepare and present technical and program information to management.
• Maintain current HACCP and Food Safety plan; lead HACCP team.
