Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks aQuality Assurance supervisor to lead the QA program, ensuring food safety in line with company standards and regulations. You will supervise staff, drive audits, and maintain GMP/HACCP compliance across the operation.

The role entails updating the SQF program, preparing for SQF status, and collaborating with teams to uphold high food safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 1 - 3 years quality control experience in foodservice or related regulatory context.
• Bachelor-level degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Science, Chemistry or Biology preferred.
• Experience supervising staff and managing QA programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage and control an effective quality assurance program.
• Assist with monthly self-audit to ensure GMP, HACCP and policy compliance.
• Maintain QA procedures and food safety practices across operations.
• Ensure compliance with government food regulatory agencies and state programs.
• Update and manage the Food Safety Plan/SQF to align with current standards.
• Prepare facility to achieve and maintain SQF status.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
