Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Associate to join a hands-on, factory-based rotational program that builds expertise in food safety, quality systems, manufacturing, and people leadership across assigned facilities.

Starting dates February 2027 or July 2027, relocation assistance available. The base salary is $83,000, with a comprehensive Total Rewards package including annual incentive eligibility, 401(k) match, health plans, time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Learning agility, curiosity & inventiveness are key in Food Safety & Quality.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results and a commitment to developing technical and business skills.
• Demonstrated people, technical, and process leadership skills and a willingness to engage in hands-on work on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement food safety and quality systems improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to make quality driven process capability improvements.
• Assess risk using problem solving techniques.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Engineering (Chemical / Food Process / Biological) or related
