Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Associate to join a hands-on, factory-based rotational program focused on learning and growth in Food Safety and Quality across manufacturing environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams, collect data, assess risks, and contribute to system improvements while developing people leadership and technical skills for a future role within the network.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering (Chemical / Food Process / Biological), or related field.
• Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Strong academic record and ability to apply technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support food safety and quality systems improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive process capability improvements.
• Assess risk using problem solving techniques.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Engineering and Maintenance to validate controls.
• Develop mentoring relationships and engage with the corporate network.
