Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Associate for a factory-based rotational program across plant locations in the United States. You will work on safety and quality systems, collect data, analyze trends, and help drive process improvements.

The 18-24 month program offers mentorship, cross-functional exposure, and the chance to advance within the supply chain network. Starting dates include February 2027 or July 2027, with relocation assistance if eligible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering (primarily Chemical / Food Process / Biological), or related degree.
• Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Strong academic record.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs to ensure safety and quality in manufacturing.
• Collect, analyze data to drive quality improvements.
• Assess risk using problem solving techniques.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Engineering and Maintenance to validate controls.
• Manage issues with non-conforming product and drive root-cause analysis.
