SkyChefs, located at Houston on-site facility near IAH, is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor - Food Safety. You will lead all food safety and QA programs, ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA, HACCP, and customer requirements, while guiding a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes training, audits, and continuous improvement, with a schedule that may include weekends. A related Bachelor’s degree and PCQI/HACCP knowledge are highly valued to deliver safe, high-quality airline

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
PCQI and/or HACCP certifications preferred.
Working knowledge of GFSI standards preferred.
2+ years of experience in food safety, QA, or related manufacturing, including leadership roles.
Strong GMP, HACCP, and FDA/USDA knowledge.

Mansioni

Lead and maintain all food safety, quality programs, and regulatory compliance in the CSC.
Monitor HACCP, CCPs, PRPs, allergen controls, sanitation, and traceability requirements.
Conduct inspections, audits, quality checks, and testing to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate food safety records and documentation.
Provide training and foster a strong food safety culture.
Collaborate with Operations to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Lead and develop QA/food safety team and manage staffing and performance.
