Job summary

Plantible Foods is seeking a QA/QC Technician to join the Food Safety & Quality team. You will perform laboratory analytical testing, support environmental monitoring, and work with Operations to maintain GMP and food safety standards, while aligning with FSMA, FSSC 22000, Gluten-Free, Halal, Kosher, and Non-GMO programs.

Beyond lab work, you will partner with manufacturing teams on GEMBA walks, coach on food safety expectations, and assist in identifying and resolving quality issues before they

Qualifications

• Familiarity with laboratory testing, sample preparation, analytical calculations, dilutions, and accurate data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical chemistry and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including protein analysis, pH, moisture, and other specifications.
• Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and laboratory equipment according to approved analytical methods.
• Accurately calculate, review, record, and communicate laboratory results and promptly elevate out-of-spec findings.
• Support Environmental Monitoring Program through environmental sampling, trending, and CAPA follow-up.

Education

Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related science
