Job summary

Plantible Foods is seeking a QA/QC Technician to join our Food Safety & Quality team. You will ensure raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet safety, quality, and spec requirements and support GMP and FSMA programs.

You will perform laboratory analytical testing, environmental monitoring, and partner with Operations to resolve quality issues quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology preferred.
• Previous lab/QA/QC experience in food manufacturing, pharma, or biotech is preferred.
• Familiarity with lab testing, sample prep, analytical calculations, and accurate data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical chemistry and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Support environmental monitoring and production-floor quality programs.
• Collaborate with Operations to maintain GMP and food safety standards.
• Support FSMA Preventive Controls, FSSC 22000, Gluten-Free, Halal, Kosher, and Non-GMO programs.
• Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment and maintain testing records.
