Haliburton International Foods, Inc. is seeking a QA-focused technician to support line startup readiness and ensure product specifications are met. You will observe production runs, assist with in-line detection systems, and report deviations to management.

You will help maintain GMP and SQF compliance, document findings, and calibrate lab equipment to support analytical chemistry practices. This role requires strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and email.

Responsabilités

• Oversee line startup meets product specs and parameters.
• Assist in in-line detection troubleshooting (Metal Detector, X-Ray, Checkweigher).
• Escalate issues when inline detection systems malfunction.
• Backup coverage for QA technician during absences on startup.
• Collaborate with QA lead to resolve GMP/SQF deviations.
• Calibrate thermometers, scales and lab equipment.
• Report deviations to Quality Management.
