Job summary

Sysco FreshPoint in Laurel, MD seeks a Manager, Food Safety Program to lead the field-level food safety strategy, ensuring HACCP, FSMA and regulatory compliance across 1–4 operating sites. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Distribution Center Food Service Operations, Food Safety/QA, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of product traceability and FDA/CFIA/USDA regulatory requirements is valued.
• HACCP, ServSafe, and GMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute food safety strategies, policies, and procedures across operating sites and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead audits, recalls, and corrective actions; act as primary contact with regulators and customers on food safety issues.
• Oversee training, food defense and sanitation programs, and drive continuous improvement of KPIs across sites.
