Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a Food Safety Manager to coordinate the Plant’s Food Safety functions through the MOS, lead the Food Safety Plan, and drive improvements across programs. You will coach staff, report KPIs, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

The role requires a science-based degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience, FSMA/FDA knowledge, and strong communication skills to lead change across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-based field and 3+ years of supervisory experience leading others.
• FSMA and FDA guidelines knowledge for dairy manufacturing.
• Sanitation systems, techniques, and procedures knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to influence change and lead teams through change.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork across functions and departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Safety Plan activities, Programs and Procedures in the plant.
• Lead continuous improvement and KPI reporting to leadership.
• Coach and train personnel on food safety initiatives and MOS processes.
• Ensure FSMA compliance and coordinate internal audits and testing.
• Provide technical direction and cross-functional collaboration.
