Job summary

Universal Pure, LLC in Malvern, PA is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Document Administrator to ensure our products meet top safety and quality standards. The role focuses on rigorous analysis, pre-shipment certification, and maintaining SOPs and HACCP/HARPC programs.

The candidate will maintain FSQA documentation, train staff, and perform facility audits, with a strong emphasis on detail, accuracy, and timely reporting to FSQA leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience performing administrative work including completing and reconciling paperwork preferred.
• Prior FSQA technician or document control experience preferred.
• Prior food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable FDA/USDA regulations and GMPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained in all areas of responsibility for FSQA technicians to provide emergency coverage.
• Create, review, authenticate, and maintain food safety documents such as SOPs and HACCP/HARPC programs.
• Maintain facility document registers and documentation.
• Ensure product samples are properly packaged and shipped for testing and train designees for this task.
• Communicate updates and changes to Food Safety programs with site management and FSQA staff.
• Review HACCP/Food Safety Plan records and report negative findings to FSQA management.
• Assist FSQA Supervisor with company-wide FSQA training and orientation.
• Conduct weekly and monthly facility audits (GMP, Pest Control, etc.).
• Provide daily monitoring to ensure compliance with the food safety system.
• Train facility personnel on GMPs, Risk Preventive Controls, Hazard Analysis, and prerequisite programs.
