Pure's Food Specialties, LLC. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to safeguard our food products through sampling, testing and thorough documentation in compliance with GMPs and HACCP requirements.

The role reports to the QA Manager and supports daily bakery inspections and supplier material validation. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, basic math and writing skills, HACCP training, and familiarity with GFSI standards.

Formación

• Effective work ethic and good communications skills.
• High School Diploma or some college science courses or experience in the food industry.
• Training in HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points).
• Training in a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard such as BRC or SQF.
• Good writing, mathematics, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in computers including spreadsheets.

Responsabilidades

• Meet applicable food regulations (international, national, state, and local).
• Sample, test, and document procedures, records, GMPs, and HACCP.
• Maintain safety, legality and quality of foods and manufacturing processes.
• Meet and exceed customer requirements and reduce complaints.
• Report food safety and quality issues to supervisor.
• Possess authority to hold product for safety or quality non-conformance.
• Participate in daily food evaluation and weekly bakery inspections.
• Select items for analysis at production stages to evaluate compliance.
• Use instruments: thermometers, metal detectors, X-ray devices, calculators, scales, gauges, calipers, rulers, moisture analyzers, ovens.
• Ensure materials come from approved suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
• Participate in Environmental Monitoring Programs (e.g., swab collection).
• Print finished food case labels as appropriate to bakery or kitchen.
• Communicate food safety/QA issues with Production.
