Job summary

IFF in Memphis seeks a dedicated Food Safety Administrative Assistant to support our food safety program. You will maintain records, ensure audit readiness, and help implement FSMA-aligned controls across departments.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication to liaise with regulators, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting; solid command of MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Record Keeping and Compliance Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of food safety measures, audit findings, and corrective actions.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of food safety guidelines.
• Audit and Inspection Support: Prepare for third‑party audits and coordinate audit logistics; support inspections.
• Training and Education: Deliver food safety training to staff and update training materials to reflect regulatory changes.
