Job summary

Rentokil is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional service. You will conduct audits, train staff, and partner with clients to implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include observing food safety practices, maintaining documentation, and traveling up to 70% with occasional evenings or weekends. CP-FS certification and a valid driver’s license are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements to obtain CP-FS certification.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays and evenings as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred.
• ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certifications are a plus.
• Excellent listening, organization, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments that measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and brand standards.
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Partner with clients to address root causes of discrepancies and develop corrective actions.
• Teach clients how to create a safer, healthier workplace for their customers.
• Travel 50%–70%, or 8–10 days per month, including some evenings/weekends.
