Town and Country Resort in San Diego, CA is seeking a Food Runner to support the restaurant service team by delivering food accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests. Plays a key role in ensuring a seamless dining experience with clear communication between kitchen and service staff.

The starting rate is $19.00 per hour. Candidates should be flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays and committed to guest service, cleanliness, and food safety.

Formación

• Previous restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience preferred; a willingness to learn is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Verify food presentation, garnishes, and order accuracy before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen team members, and supervisors to support smooth service.
• Assist servers with food delivery, table maintenance, and guest requests as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, expo areas, and designated workspaces.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures at all times.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests, involving a server or supervisor when appropriate.
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and preparing the restaurant for service.
• Learn menu items, ingredients, and common dietary considerations to help answer basic guest questions.
• Support opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the restaurant's operation.
