Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Puerto Rico is seeking a guest-focused Food & Beverage Server to support delivering meals from the kitchen and attending to guest requests. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a positive service attitude and the ability to carry a tray with balance in a fast-paced setting.

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness. (30%)
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service. (15%)
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. (15%)
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages. (10%)
• Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations. (10%)
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth in EmPact. (10%)
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

About the role:

Serve guest needs by assisting the Food Server with delivery of food from kitchen and completing guest requests.
