Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Puerto Rico is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Services Associate to warmly welcome guests, register arrivals, and ensure a seamless checkout process. You will tailor recommendations to guest needs and manage payments while upholding Four Seasons’ standards.

We value a team player with strong English and Spanish communication skills, experience with Opera, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Ability to multi-task on several items at once.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operating systems and experience with Opera.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication in both English and Spanish language required

Responsibilities

• Check guests in efficiently and politely, explain accommodations and payment methods.
• Check guests out, prepare bills, and respond to requests with personal touches.
• Escort guests to rooms, deliver luggage, and manage keys and room changes.
• Maintain a balanced bank, process transactions, and handle currency exchange.
• Assist with Pre-Arrival emails, monitor chat messages for Concierge/GFD, and prepare special occasion notes.

About the location:

The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.

About the role

Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

What you will do

Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Escort guest to the room if Guest Relations Agent is not available and sent a Chat to the guest

Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.

Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.

Assist with Pre-Arrival emails, monitor all Chat messages for Concierge, Guest Relations and FD, write special occasion card/notes, assist with special occasion set up.
