Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Puerto Rico is seeking a Turndown Attendant to create a comfortable evening environment in guest rooms and prepare them for sleep. The role supports the housekeeping team by refreshing rooms, attending to details, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, service‑oriented, and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, with legal US work authorization and a willingness to work a rotating full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• A can-do approach and strong service mindset are essential.
• Must have legal work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms for turndown service and refresh as needed.
• Remove used towels and replace with clean ones from the linen closet.
• Wipe bathroom surfaces, fold clothing left in room, and organize.
• Clear room service trays, update minibar items, and tidy the room.
• Submit maintenance issues to Engineering through the designated system.
• Add special touches to enhance the guest experience.

About The Role

The Turndown Attendant is a vital member of the housekeeping team, provides a comfortable evening environment in Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in.

What You Will Do

• Prepares the guest room for turndown service. Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.
• Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom. Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.
• Removes Room Service trays and dishes and carts to service landings. Replaces used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the Minibar with clean china, glasses and cutlery from the Room Attendant pantry.
• Removes garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom. Closes drapes (based on applicable standard), reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed.
• Submits all maintenance issues in guestrooms, Public Areas and Back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of the Housekeeping management.
• Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience. For example micro fiber cloth, book marks, travel bags
