Job summary

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming, part of Churchill Downs Incorporated, seeks a restaurant server for high-volume dining support at our Kentucky venue. You will assist in delivering meals, ensure accuracy and presentation, and collaborate closely with the culinary team to satisfy guests.

Flexibility for weekends, holidays and night shifts is required, along with the ability to obtain a KY Racing License. Prior experience in fast-paced dining and knowledge of menu items are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years high volume table-service dining required.
• Ability to obtain KY Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are prepared with the correctly.
• Organize order tickets and proper placement of food on food trays.
• Collaborate with the culinary team.
• Inspect dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before sending them out to guests.
• Assist in delivering orders/running food to maintain prompt service to guests.
• Addresses food/beverage or service related guest issues.
• Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
• Knowledge of menu items and service as well as overall restaurant operations.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Education

Two years high volume table-service dining required
