Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a team member to support Turfway Park Racing & Gaming with floor care and cleaning activities in the Northern Kentucky facility.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma and the ability to obtain a Kentucky Racing license. You will perform sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and operate various cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and safe gaming environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Kentucky Racing license.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust and wax floors.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment including extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts.
• Be familiar with safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Operates electric-powered equipment designed to perform cleaning duties.
• Cleans and sanitizes chairs, hand rails, doors, tables and games throughout the facility.
• Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust and wax floors
• Able to operate all types of cleaning equipments including riding equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
• Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Operates electric-powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
• Cleans and sanitizes chairs, hand rails, doors, tables and games throughout the facility.
• Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and non-public areas.
• Notifies management concerning need for repairs or deep cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• GED or High School diploma or up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to obtain Kentucky Racing license.
