Job summary

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Food Runner to support servers, greet guests warmly, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages. You will lift up to 50 lbs, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and maintain knowledge of all menu items while upholding safety and service standards to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
• Must have strong communications skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.

Overview

The Food Runner role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations work to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.
