About the Job

The food expeditor/food runner acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff to ensure a steady workflow throughout the various departments the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate kitchen orders.
• Prioritize outgoing meals to ensure that no orders are lost, forgotten, or delayed.
• Maintain quality control of outgoing food.
• Facilitate communication between the front of house so that different departments of the restaurant can communicate without leaving their stations.
• Help monitor food safety.
