The One Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Food Runner to deliver meals quickly and accurately, while upholding our high service standards. You will collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure a smooth flow from kitchen to table.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift and carry trays, with evenings, weekends and holidays

Qualifikationen

• Must have strong work ethic and team orientation.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail to ensure prompt and correct food delivery.
• Must stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and carry large trays.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays; basic English required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards.
• Possess full menu knowledge and describe dishes to guests.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service.
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Offer condiments and accompaniments as appropriate.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and general service tasks; keep area clean and organized.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety.
• Be available to assist in setup, cleaning, and other service tasks as directed.
