Job summary

Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL, seeks a Food Runner/Busser to support servers and keep dining areas clean and stocked. You will deliver orders, verify ticket accuracy, and assist guests with questions in a fast-paced environment.

Previous food service experience is preferred; ServSafe/TIPS certification is a plus. Must be able to read English and work a flexible schedule. This role is part of Troon’s hospitality team, offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school education or up to one month related experience.
• Preferred experience in food service.
• ServSafe or TIPS certification may be required or preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English is expected for communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by delivering orders from kitchen to guests and keeping BOH areas clean and stocked.
• Set dining areas with appropriate place settings and ensure correct table configurations.
• Deliver food rapidly and accurately, verify items match tickets.
• Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; stock work stations; clear tables after courses.
