Job summary

Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a driven part-time Server to deliver friendly hospitality in a fast-paced property.

You will greet guests, describe menu specials, take and deliver orders, and work with the POS system while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years serving experience or training preferred.
• Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describe daily specials and answer menu questions.
• Take orders and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Maintain an organized workstation and complete side duties.
• Handle checks and cash; use the Point of Sale system.
• Follow established order-taking and delivery procedures.
• Adhere to greeting, cocktail service, and service standards.
• Perform tray service and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Server:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Server:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mustbeable tomeet stateage requirements for handling alcoholfor this position.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
