Casa Madera in West Hollywood is seeking a high-energy Food Runner to support our front-of-house and kitchen teams. You will deliver food, maintain guest service standards, and help ensure timely, accurate service for every guest.

The role requires strong multitasking, a diligent work ethic, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Nights, weekends and holidays may be required; prior experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced hospitality

Food Runners are responsible for controlling the flow of food in and out of the kitchen and maintaining clear communication between the kitchen and front of house team. Additional responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils. Runners must have extensive menu knowledge to be able to correctly name each dish (including modifications) as it is delivered to a table. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need

• Ability to have extensive knowledge on the beverages we offer on the menu and the mastery of the food menu in order to properly garnish and send out

• Mechanical in execution uses organized steps of service to ensure order accuracy and consistency even in the busiest of times

• Ensuring that side stations are prepped as needed for business demand

• Build rapport with guests in order to increase repeat clientele
