Job summary

Roost in Tyler, TX is seeking a Food Runner to help deliver meals quickly and accurately while providing genuine care to Guests. You will work closely with the Expo to ensure orders are complete and ready for service before delivery.

Ideal candidates are dependable, energetic, and passionate about serving others, with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Expo to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and ready for service.

• Announce menu items as they are delivered and ensure guests have everything they need.
• Perform table touches to check on guest satisfaction and respond to guest needs.
• Pre-bus tables and maintain a clean, organized dining room.
• Assist with stocking service stations and front-of-house supplies.
• Communicate effectively with the Expo, kitchen, and front-of-house Team Members to maintain efficient service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support teammates wherever needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
