Jimmy's Seafood Inc. in Baltimore seeks a dependable Food Runner to deliver meals promptly and professionally. You will present dishes attractively, know table and menu details, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure top quality and timing.

This role requires flexible hours, teamwork, and a commitment to spotless service standards. The position supports opening/closing tasks, maintains expo area cleanliness, and may participate in the restaurant's social media efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food runner or restaurant environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food items ordered by guests without delay at the desired temperature and in a highly presentable manner.
• Provide friendly, detail oriented, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience.
• Arrange the various food items properly on the table as per the seating plan.
• Possess knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers, and menu items.
• Assist kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize guest dining experience.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of expo/food runner area.
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities.
• Practice safe handling and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Adhere to quality standards and restaurant rules and procedures.
• Actively participates in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available.
