Job summary

Buzz Hospitality in Portland, ME is seeking friendly hospitality team members to deliver outstanding guest service in a high-volume, multi-concept setting. You will engage with guests, support service staff, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

You will work on-site, receive an hourly base pay plus tips, and have opportunities for career growth within our growing brands. Prior experience and proper food service licenses are a plus, and a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are prepared with correct priority and dish presentation meets standards.
• Assist in final dish prep (garnish) as needed.
• Deliver food to guests promptly and accurately.
• Follow up on guest requests through servers or bartenders.
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and equipment.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain a guest-experience focus and genuine hospitality.
• Comply with local/state laws for food service and steps of service.
• Keep kitchen line and stations stocked, clean, and organized.
• Complete setup and breakdown tasks to standard.

What You Will be Doing

• Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority (when Expo) and that the presentation of dishes meets Company specifications immediately prior to guest delivery
• Assisting in the final preparation of dishes (garnish etc.) as required
• Delivering food to guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner to both floor and bar sections
• Following up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned Bartender / Server
• Assisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment
• Interacting with guests
• Maintaining an approach to a “guest experience” focus that centers around “Genuine Hospitality”
• Adhering to all local and state laws regarding the service of food; including Steps of Service
• Ensuring that the Kitchen Line, and associated stations / areas are kept stocked and are maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
• Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
• Having fun!
