Job summary

Contessa, a Major Food Group restaurant in Miami's Design District, is seeking a Band 5 Food Runner to join our hospitality team. You will deliver food from the kitchen to guests with accuracy and timeliness, while learning the menu and supporting the front-of-house staff.

This on-site role requires at least 2 years in a high-volume upscale setting, strong teamwork and customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in a high-volume upscale restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Understands all menu offerings, food descriptions and ingredients and verbalizes to guests.
• Sets tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service.
• Ensures expo and service station areas are organized and maintained.
• Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables upon completion of meal.
• Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned.

Salary Range: $8.00 To $8.00 Hourly

Major Food Group is hiring Food Runners to join our team at Contessa in Miami's Design District!

Contessa, inspired by the old-world resorts and the lasting estates of Italy, features cuisine embodying the effortless elegance of the Trattorias of Northern Italy. Offering all-day dining with breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and perfectly crafted cocktails, the menus showcase a range of selections from imported salumi and house made fresh pasta to dry aged Chianina Beef.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner
