Job summary

Major Food Group LLC in Dallas, TX, is seeking Food Runners to join Carbone Vino, a new concept celebrating timeless Italian craftsmanship and a renowned wine cellar.

You will deliver dishes from the kitchen, explain menu items to guests, set and reset tables, maintain expo areas, and assist the front-of-house team as needed in a high-volume, upscale setting. Minimum 2 years' experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; competitive benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food from kitchen to guests accurately and timely.
• Understands all menu offerings and can verbalize to guests.
• Sets tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service.
• Ensure expo and service station areas are organized and maintained.
• Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables after completion of meal.
• Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned.

Major Food Group is looking for Food Runners to join our team at Carbone Vino!

Carbone Vino, located just across the courtyard from Carbone, is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner
• Understands all menu offerings, food descriptions and ingredients and is able to verbalize to guests
• Set tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service
• Ensure expo and service station areas are organized and maintained
• Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables upon completion of meal
• Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years working in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
