Job summary

The Village Dallas is hiring a friendly server to greet guests warmly, deliver food and beverages promptly, and work with teammates to meet guests’ expectations in a high-end setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years' experience in a high-end restaurant preferred
• Current Food Handler’s certification
• Friendly, courteous, and well-spoken
• Works well with a team
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
• An appetite for growth and further knowledge in the food and beverage field
• Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to serve food that meets or exceeds guests’ expectations (correct temperature, presentation, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and food expediting area to safety and sanitation regulations
• Reset food expediting area, ensuring all cutlery, plating, and kitchen supplies are properly placed
• Stock all necessary areas
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner, gauging their requirements then clearly communicating them to the server
• Observe guest activity within the restaurant to ensure no delays in service
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader
