Richelieu Foods, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance, labeling, and product documentation across the organization.

You will report to the VP of QA, Food Safety and Regulatory and guide the Regulatory and Sustainability Specialist while ensuring all materials meet FDA, USDA, FSIS, and customer requirements. The role involves cross-functional partnership with QA, R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Sales, with a hybrid work arrangement and emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in the food industry with regulatory/labeling experience.
• At least 3 years in consumer-packaged goods labeling and regulatory documentation.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, FSIS labeling requirements and product claims.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory review and compliance for product commercialization and changes.
• Oversee ingredient statements, nutrition panels, allergens, and origin declarations.
• Manage USDA label approvals and artwork review for compliance.
• Ensure documentation aligns with customer requirements and regulations.
• Lead sustainability and ESG documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Supervise and develop one direct report and build backup coverage.
