Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Food RA Specialist for an on-site role in Irvine, CA. You will bridge overseas HQ, U.S. co-packers, and regulatory agencies to protect brand integrity and accelerate product launches.

The role requires 3–6 years in U.S. food regulatory compliance or R&D regulatory work, with mastery of FDA labeling and FSMA/cGMP. Strong writing and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline.
• 3–6 years of U.S. food and beverage regulatory compliance or R&D regulatory experience.
• Mastery of FDA 21 CFR 101 (labeling), 21 CFR 117 (FSMA/cGMP), and FSVP regulations.
• Working familiarity with FASTER Act allergen laws and CA Proposition 65 exposure limits.
• Hands-on experience analyzing complex formulation BOMs, spec sheets, and supplier COAs.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for cross-border and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Validate raw materials, additives, and primary packaging for FDA 21 CFR and GRAS compliance.
• Author and approve Nutrition Facts, ingredient statements, allergen notices, and marketing claims.
• Manage Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) and audit international supplier technical dossiers.
• Direct California Proposition 65 assessments, environmental packaging rules, and import clearances.
• Secure and maintain third-party certifications including Non-GMO, Organic, Gluten-Free, and Kosher/Halal.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, QA, Marketing, and 3PL warehousing to clear regulatory hurdles.

Salary Pay Range – top and bottom range and Other Compensation:

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

About the Role:
