Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading electronics manufacturer in Fremont, CA to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract/temporary role. The position is onsite, offering a $43/hour pay rate and full-time hours.

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing quality background, ISO 9001 expertise, and proven capabilities in CAPA, RCA, and continuous improvement to resolve issues and enhance production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and manufacturing quality processes.
• Strong CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, NCRs, and corrective action methodologies.
• Experience conducting quality audits and supporting quality system compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Investigate manufacturing defects, nonconformances, and customer quality complaints.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA.
• Support MRB activities and nonconforming material disposition.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support supplier quality assessments.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze quality metrics, defect trends, and manufacturing performance using statistical tools.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection procedures, SOPs, and reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to improve yields and reduce defects.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Support development and implementation of inspection and test plans.

About The Opportunity

Location: Fremont, CA

Job Type: Contract / Temporary

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Pay Rate: $43/Hr

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality, ISO 9001 quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement. This individual will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, resolve manufacturing issues, and improve overall production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.


• Investigate manufacturing defects, nonconformances, and customer quality complaints.


• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).


• Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and nonconforming material disposition.


• Conduct internal quality audits and support supplier quality assessments.


• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement.


• Analyze quality metrics, defect trends, and manufacturing performance using statistical tools.


• Support supplier quality initiatives, supplier corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs.


• Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection procedures, SOPs, and quality reports.


• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve production yields and reduce defects.
