Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking aSenior Warehouse Supervisor in Richmond, CA. This exempt, first-shift role focuses on leading the entire warehouse floor, staffing, safety, and service execution in a permanent, direct-hire capacity.

You will drive staffing, safety, inventory integrity, and continuous improvement while overseeing receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes. The position offers real decision-making authority within a protein distribution operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply-chain experience including supervising employees.
• Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, food-safety practices, and warehouse systems.
• High school diploma or GED; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to operate in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Warehouse Associates, building staffing plans, schedules, shift assignments, and cross-training around volume and service needs.
• Set daily priorities and direct work across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, checking, staging, loading, and returns, adjusting labor as needed.
• Run pre-shift huddles, track productivity, order accuracy, dock flow, and inventory integrity; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, USDA/FDA, and Cal/OSHA standards; ensure equipment operators are trained and authorized; lead incident response and audit readiness.
• Interview candidates, conduct performance evaluations, coach and document performance; make recommendations on hiring, promotion and discipline.

Opportunity Summary

Join an established protein distributor with more than 60 years in business, supplying high-quality meat products and custom processing to foodservice operators, government agencies, and global partners. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the frontline leader of the entire warehouse floor, owning staffing, safety, inventory integrity, and service execution. This permanent, direct-hire role gives you real decision-making authority and the chance to shape how a food distribution operation runs.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply-chain experience, including supervising employees, workforce planning, operational decision-making, and interviewing, training, and coaching staff.


• Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, food-safety practices, warehouse systems, productivity measures, and material-handling equipment.


• High school diploma or GED, working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to work in environments down to approximately -10°F and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field.
