Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP, FDA FSMA, USDA and related regulations.
• Experience in a lab environment; wet chemistry preferred.
• 1–2 years of industry experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line for GMP and cleanliness.
• Perform daily ATP swabs and sanitation inspections.
• Report to QA/QC Managers and collaborate.
• Create labels and tags for production hold/release.
• Resolve daily quality issues and communicate findings.
• Approve samples and support lab duties.
• Understand SQF, FDA FSMA, USDA compliance for documents.
• HACCP monitoring activities.
• Document data and communicate to supervisors.
• Fill in other duties in Quality Department as needed.
